Tony Levin and Stick Men Announce 2026 North American “Brutal” Tour
Tony Levin and Stick Men are embarking on a month-long tour around the U.S. and Canada this spring. The trio of Levin (Chapman Stick), Markus Reuter (Touch Guitar), and Pat Mastelotto (drums) will be on the road in support of their latest album, Brutal, which came out in September 2025.
“Brutal is a concentrated burst of energy and invention from Stick Men — our new 25-minute studio EP featuring five brand-new compositions,” they explain. “It’s our first collection of freshly recorded material in several years, and a bold step forward in sound, feel, and expression.”
The Brutal Tour will begin March 26th in New Bedford, Massachusetts and focus on New England for a week. After a quick jump to Toronto, they’ll make their way through the Midwest, eventually circling back to finish on April 29th in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
Though he’s known for killer bass lines on like Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” and “Don’t Give Up,” but he’s been playing the Stick for decades. Notably, he used it in King Crimson’s “Elephant Talk,” among others.
