Golden Flower Blends Psychedelic Soul, Deep Groove, & a Little Bit of Chaos on “Who Are the People?”
Golden Flower just dropped the video for “Who Are the People?” and this one settles into a groove fast. The Orlando-based improvising quintet mixes psychedelic soul, indie textures, and jam-band energy into something that feels loose, deep, and some chaos for tight but free vibe.
Bassist Brandon Miller holds it all together on a six-string Ibanez BTB, laying down a thick pocket while the rest of the band swirls around him. These “live” studio style videos are some of my favorite. They give you a honest look of masters at work.
