Paragram Guitars’ Agave Bass Puts a Semi-Hollow Spin on the Short Scale

Paragram Guitars Agave Bass Body

This week, we’re checking out the Agave Bass from Mexico’s Paragram Guitars. The short-scale bass has a semi-hollow body with a unique design, making for a lightweight instrument with vintage vibes.

It has a few standard features, including a maple neck with a Modern C profile, Wilkinson pickups and hardware, and 19 nickel frets. However, Paragram offers many personalization options.

“The Agave Standard Bass offers the ultimate customizable experience, with a broad selection of top-tier woods, various pickup configurations, and a range of hardware options,” they explain. “Every detail can be adapted to suit your unique tonal and aesthetic preferences, making the instrument an extension of your musical voice.”

Pickup options include a set of single coils, a split coil, a P/J configuration, or an MM humbucker.
