Black Flag Unleashes Massive Coast-to-Coast Fall 2026 Tour

The iconic punk band Black Flag will be heading out on an extensive tour this fall, bringing their sonic fury from coast to coast. Formed in 1976, the band currently consists of founding guitarist Greg Ginn with vocalist Max Zanelly, drummer Bryce Weston, and bassist David Rodriguez.

“Following recent U.S. and European touring, Black Flag returns with a revitalized lineup and a set drawing from its influential catalog,” a press release states. “The tour offers both longtime fans and new audiences the chance to experience the band live in intimate club and theater settings.”

The tour will begin September 3rd at Belly Up in Aspen, Colorado. From there, they will travel through the Mountain States into the Midwest and south to Florida. Black Flag will then quickly make their way to the West Coast to cover California before doubling back to end in Houston, Texas on November 1st.

In a recent episode of The Rock Roost Podcast, Rodriguez says his focus is to bring the Black Flag energy to their performances.

“I hear old lineups. Any possible lineup I could hear, I listen to,” he said. “I kind of try to recreate that energy. I try to add my own things to it, of course, but it’s mainly the energy that I try to replicate, just to make it feel like a Black Flag show rather than you’re just seeing a band play Black Flag songs.”
