Marmozets Part Ways with Bassist and Co-Founder Sam Macintyre

English rock band Marmozets has announced that bassist Sam Macintyre is no longer in the group. They made the announcement on Instagram.
“We’re taking this time, while on a little break, to inform you that we have parted ways with Sam Macintyre due to the relationship becoming unworkable despite our best intentions and attempts,” they wrote. “Please be assured that this decision is in the best interests of everyone involved. Thank you for all your love and support and we’ll see you soon.”
The split goes deep, as Sam is the brother of singer Becca Bottomley (born Macintyre) and drummer Josh Macintyre, with whom he co-founded Marmozets. They just released CO.WAR.DICE in May, marking their first album in eight years. Sam had recently switched to bass after the departure of Will Bottomley.
A replacement bassist has not been named.
