Watch Christian McBride Join Emmet Cohen for a Two-Hour Jazz Summit

Here is one to settle in with. Emmet Cohen assembled a powerhouse group featuring Christian McBride, vocalist Sheléa, vibraphonist Warren Wolf, and drummer Joe Farnsworth.

McBride spends the entire performance on upright bass, delivering more than two hours of the enormous tone and deep pocket. He locks in beautifully with the whole crew.  The music is straight ahead jazz at its finest. McBride’s interplay with Wolf is especially exciting with the two trading ideas without ever losing the swing.
