RockBoard Introduces Second Tiers Pedalboard Expansion System
RockBoard has built upon its pedalboard lineup – literally. Second Tiers is a pedalboard expansion that the company calls its most requested piece of gear. The interest in tiers has grown as modern pedalboards have evolved with entire rigs being built onto a board via modelers, loop switchers, IR pedals, and more.
“Those pedals we don’t need to interact with often can stay under the Second Tiers, and controllers/switcher users can still access those pedals remotely,” RockBoard writes.
The Second Tiers feature fully opening tops that can hold in place at different angles for better access to the pedals underneath. They mount directly onto the existing RockBoard hole structure and are secured with screws to make sure nothing shifts out of place.
“The Second Tiers are available in two sizes: 320 mm for the S version and 475 mm for the L version, with both measuring 150 mm front to back,” the company explains. “The sizes were chosen around the RockBoard range, allowing a tier to leave room beside it for an expression pedal on some boards, span the available width on others, and even be used in pairs on larger compatible RockBoards. Compatibility starts with the TRES series and continues upward through the RockBoard range.”
The RockBoard Second Tiers will be debuting at Guitar Summit 2026 in Mannheim, Germany. They are available for pre-order at $69.99 for the small version and $89.99 for the large.
