Kardinal Guitars Enters the Low End with the Kardinal Bass

Kardinal Guitars has unveiled The Kardinal Bass, marking the brand’s first foray into the low end. The company describes its debut four-string model as offering “professional-grade tone at a very accessible price.”
The bass features neck-through construction with mahogany for the body and neck. Its quilted maple top comes in three colors (Cardinal red, Sapphire blue, and Midnight black) and features flame maple binding.
Kardinal developed a custom dual-coil soapbar set for the model.
“Rich and deep with high-end clarity and warmth, these pickups respond to how you play. Dig in and they growl. Pull back and they sing. They handle everything from fingerstyle to slap without losing definition or articulation,” they say.
Other features include a brass saddle bridge, a rosewood fretboard, and black hardware.
Kardinal Guitars hand-assembles the Kardinal Bass in small batches. It’s open to pre-order at $549, with the order window closing on November 20th.
