As always, Rebecca Johnson and her band knock us out with each new video they share. In this one, they perform Michael McDonald’s “I Keep Forgettin’.” Rebecca’s tone is incredible, and once again, she simultaneously handles the lead vocals.

Jesús Rico Pérez is back with another incredible video. In this clip, Jesús performs Michael Manring’s “Night is Darkness Enough,” which is a track on Manring’s 2020 album, “Small Moments”. As always, Jesús knocks it out of the park.

I’ve been going back through videos featuring Mohini Dey and found this incredible performance with Louiz Banks from 2015. This clip features Banks’ tune, “Timeless”, which he says “is inspired by the sun, the wind, and the flowing river.”

It has been four years ago since Vulfpeck released the epic tune, “Dean Town“. There have been many covers over the years, but this new one by Nathan Navarro is pretty unique. Check out Nathan covering the tune on his Mayones Cali 4 HS mini bass.

Meet Clark Sims, a bassist living in Los Angeles who was inspired at an early age by hearing the great Larry Graham. It didn’t take long for Clark to start playing bass after that, and he’s made it his life.

Scary Pockets was joined by vocalist Monica Martin for this cover of Radiohead’s “Karma Police.” And while the vocals are fantastic, we were pretty focused on the 1958 P Bass Jon Button is playing on the track.

For years, we’ve called these two the Dynamic Duo. And so it was a thrill to see bassist Evan Marien and drummer Dana Hawkins back with some new material and videos. Here they are (with Mario Camarena) performing “Bouncin’”.
