Cody Fry and Dynamo recently released this live video performance of “Better,” and it has some people talking about how the band’s sound reminds them of a pop-oriented Snarky Puppy. Zachariah Witcher is the bassist on the track, and it seems guitarist and musical guest Cory Wong must basically live in the studio.
Vulfpeck: Lonely Town
Vulfpeck shared another song from their upcoming album, Hill Climber. Part of the announcement stated “Joe Dart on upright bass.” So of course, I clicked immediately and had a good laugh.
Blues Beatles: Live At Vicentina Aranha Park
The Blues Beatles is a favorite around here, and this video features the band performing a concert live at Vicentina Aranha Park in Brazil. Once again, Bruno Falcão handles the bass (and some backing vocals) on the band’s unique covers of Beatles tunes.

It is great to see YYNOT gaining so much traction with fans. The band performed at The Diesel in Detroit on October 27th, and once again, they’re putting out some great concert videos. Scary Pockets: Don’t Worry, Be Happy
Scary Pockets keeps bringing the (re-imagined) hits with a new video. This time around, they take on the Bobby McFerrin tune, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” Sam Wilkes is back on the bass with the band for this one, which is fronted by guest vocalist Nikka Costa.
