No Treble contributor Brittany Frompovich has had a lot to overcome over the past year or so, but she’s back to gigging, including her work with Ashleigh Chevalier. Here’s a great clip of the duo performing “Burnin’ Down.”

I love it when Playing For Change drops a new video, and they did just that this morning. In this one, over 40 musicians from 13 countries got together virtually to record a beautiful version of U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.”

NPR just dropped their latest “Tiny Desk” video, and this one is killer. Endea Owens, the house bassist for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, visited the office with The Cookout to perform five tunes.

Drummer Yussef Dayes and his band performed a live set at the Joshua Tree, and the band debuted the video earlier this month. Rocco Palladino (Pino’s son) lays down some sweet bass lines behind the band, and he takes the spotlight on “Golden Hour.”

I’ve always loved the Sanborn Sessions. I don’t know how I missed this episode, but it’s better late than never. Kandace Springs joined Dave and the band to record “Love Got In The Way,” with Ben Williams laying down some funky bass with a fat tone.

Paul Thompson not only puts out some of the best videos I’ve seen, he also produces an impressive amount. In this new one, Thompson takes a look at the work of one of the greats: Chuck Rainey, including his “patting” technique.

Ellen Alaverdyan has a new video out, and this one once again features the bassist with her dad, Hovak Alaverdyan, on guitar (and Marine Sargsyan on stomp kick). Here’s the inspiring young musician performing bass and vocals on “Blackbird.”

Tedeschi Trucks Band dropped the fourth and final film last night from their incredible “I Am The Moon” series. As always, Brandon Boone lays down a solid foundation behind the band on “Episode IV. Farewell.”

Back in February, Cory Wong and his band performed at Brooklyn Steel. Sonny T was on the bill. Here’s the band performing “Meditation,” which starts out as such a perfect, mellow groove before the band kicks things up a notch.

We love Lake Street Dive, thanks in large part to Bridget Kearney. 10 years ago, they performed a cover of “I Want You Back” on a Boston sidewalk. Here’s the band performing a cover of The Pointer Sisters’ “Automatic” in the same spot.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers recently announced there’s a new album coming. “Return of the Dream Canteen” is releasing on October 14th, and the band has dropped the first video. “Tippa My Tongue” features some funky goodness by Flea.
