No Treble reader Clive H Jones (aka CHJbass) sent us another video from his upcoming album, “Smoke and Mirrors.” “Say Goodbye” is one of ten tracks of introspective, melodic solo bass songs recorded on a Rickenbacker 4004 bass.

From “Live from the Dome part IV,” here’s The Main Squeeze performing the Jimi Hendrix tune, “Little Wing.” Rob Walker is rocking the double bass on this one to kick this one off before switching to bass guitar (and then taking a sweet solo).

Berklee dropped a video by Terri Lyne Carrington, Kris Davis, Linda May Han Oh, and special guest Ambrose Akinmusire performing “Rounds.” The song is featured on the group’s album, “New Standards, Vol. 1.”

Pat Metheny Group’s “The First Circle” is an all-time favorite song of mine. So I was blown away by this performance of it by the Florida State University Percussion Ensemble.
