Incubus has announced a U.S. arena tour for 2024 during which they will be performing their career-defining album Morning View in its entirety. They also made an important announcement to their lineup.

Sire Guitars Unveils Z-Series Basses
Sire attended the 2024 NAMM Show to launch several new lines of basses, including the Z Series. It has two basses – the Z3 and the Z7 – that are their take on a classic bass design.
Marcus Miller featuring Nate Phillips and David Dyson: “Blast” Live from The Smooth Jazz Cruise 2024
Marcus Miller performed during this year’s Smooth Jazz Cruise, and while the band played “Blast,” he wanted to give the bass players some love. In the middle of the song, he first called on Nate Phillips to take center stage, and the two traded some funky licks. Next, David Dyson came on stage to add more low end goodness.
In Memoriam: Derrick McIntyre
Bassist Derrick McIntyre, who played with Jamiroquai, Roy Ayers, and others, has died after an automobile accident. He was 66 years old. The news was shared by his family as well as Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay, who paid tribute to McIntyre.
Ashdown Introduces Affordable Roasted Series Basses At NAMM 2024
Ashdown is most known for their bass amplifiers and pedals, but in 2020, it introduced a line of bass guitars. This year at NAMM, they unveiled the next generation of their basses with the Roasted Series.
