Bass of the Week: Tüi Instruments Mammoth Slayer
This week we’re checking out a brand new ancient bass by Tüi Instruments. Gert Simso shared his latest creation with us, which he calls the Mammothslayer. The spear-shaped body is made from bog oak while the lower bout features a deer horn for a leg rest.

Fender Unveils the Player Plus Active Meteora Bass
Fender’s Player Plus Series kicked off last year, and the company has just unveiled a new four-string in the line that shakes things up. The Player Plus Active Meteora Bass features a radical offset body shape fitted with two humbucking pickups.
