A bassist who goes by the screen name mahalkita511 has shared this nice solo bass arrangement of the holiday classic, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”. Just in time for Santa to come to town. Can we add a F-Bass VF560 bass to our wish list, like the one mahalkita511 is playing?

Bassist Bas Shiver has shared a video with a dual purpose. First, a sweet arrangement of “Let it Snow” for bass. Then, he teaches you how, so you can add it to your holiday festivities. The Christmas ornament is optional, but recommended.

Damian was blown away by this video and sent it my way. Watch it and you’ll see what he was talking about. This is multi-instrumentalist Jacob Collier performing his arrangement of the traditional English Christmas carol, “I Saw Three Ships”. As Jacob says, the tune is “Performed and produced by a variety of Jacob Collier’s.” Including one on upright.

I just discovered bassist Ed Lift, who goes by the screen name Zon 4. And I was glad I did. Zon 4’s style is very reminiscent of Zander Zon’s – and perhaps even inspired by Zander. Here’s one of our favorite solo bassists, Aaron Gibson, performing his Christmas tune, “Gloria”. Aaron’s music is something special. And his videos always make them even more amazing.
