After releasing two EPs, Leland Sklar and The Immediate Family have dropped a full-length self-titled album. The new album was recorded over three days at Jackson Browne’s studio in Los Angeles and includes tracks from the previous releases.

It has been a while since we shared one of Leland Sklar’s videos. In this one, Lee plays along to one of his favorite tracks (“Everyday”) from James Taylor’s 1985 record, “That’s Why I’m Here”, and shares the story behind it.

After dropping their U.S. debut EP last fall, The Immediate Family has returned with a follow-up release. “Can’t Stop Progress” features all originals written by the band’s all-star lineup, including Leland Sklar.
