Usually, when we share a video with Jack Stratton involved, he has Joe Dart by his side. But the man can play bass (among many other instruments). In this clip, Jack joins Scary Pockets for their take on The Beatles’ “Come Together.”

We recently featured a great Scary Pockets video with Tim Lefebvre anchoring the band on their take of “Valerie.” Here’s another one, with the band’s funky arrangement of Bob Marley’s “Is This Love.”

Scary Pockets consistently works with some terrific bass players. In this clip, Tim Lefebvre joins them along with guest vocalist Rett Madison for their take on “Valerie.” Tim lays down some tasty lines on this one!

Scary Pockets is back with a new video, and this time it is a funk mashup of the Steve Miller Band’s “The Joker” and Weezer’s “Undone – The Sweater Song.” Bassist Jon Flaugher joins the band on this one, along with guest vocalist Darren Criss.

Scary Pockets is back with a new, funky (and chill) cover, taking on The Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses.” Joined by guest vocalist Suzy Jones, the band is once again backed by bassist Sam Wilkes.

Scary Pockets keeps bringing the (re-imagined) hits with a new video. This time around, they take on the Bobby McFerrin tune, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” Sam Wilkes is back on the bass with the band for this one, which is fronted by guest vocalist Nikka Costa.

Scary Pockets has put out another killer video with this cover of Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me.” Daniel Aged holds down the funky groove behind guest vocalist Charles Jones.

Scary Pockets is back with another one of their funky covers. Backed by bassist Daniel Aged and joined by guest vocalist Judith Hill, here’s the band’s take on the AC/DC tune, “You Shook Me All Night Long.”

Scary Pockets is back with a new and funky cover. This time, they’re taking on the Dave Matthews Band tune, “Crash Into Me,” which features Daniel Aged on bass. Julia Nunes joins the band with some impressive vocals on this cover. We love how the song builds (and with it, Daniel’s bass lines).

I stumbled upon this video on Facebook the other day and was impressed with Scary Pockets’ funky cover of Radiohead’s “Creep.” Sam Wilkes is the band’s bassist, which is fronted by vocalist India Carney.
