Snarky Puppy has announced a new set of tour dates that will run from September through the New Year. The band, led by bassist Michael League, will kick things off in Texas before heading to Florida, California, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and New York.

Snarky Puppy will be hitting the road again for the first time since canceling their tour plans last year. The musical collective, led by bassist/bandleader Michael League, made the announcement on Facebook.

The weekly webinar held by Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten is rolling on this week with a presentation featuring the entire roster of Snarky Puppy, including bassist Michael League.

The very first Snarky Puppy we shared (in 2011) was for their tune, “Skate U”. That video put the band on the map for us and for many readers. They’ve been remixing and remastering their earlier works this year, including this tune.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a video from Snarky Puppy, but they recently released this remixed and remastered version of “Flood” from “Tell Your Friends”. The tune was written by Michael League, who handles both bass and keybass on the track.

Snarky Puppy visited NPR recently to record a Tiny Desk Concert, and it was epic. In addition to the great music, Michael League decided to get the staff and audience involved with creating a polyrhythm.

Snarky Puppy is about to embark on a month of U.S. tour dates in support of their latest album, “Immigrance.” This will be the second leg of the tour for Michael League and the crew.
