Nearly a decade ago, Snarky Puppy expanded on their jazz-funk foundations by recording the album "Sylva" with the famed Metropole Orkest. The collaboration garnered them a Grammy for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album, and now they’re looking to repeat history.

Snarky Puppy is dropping "We Like It Here (Remixed + Remastered + Reimagined)" on December 6, 2024, and they’re giving us a taste for what’s to come.

We love Snarky Puppy, so it was cool to see this video by the Berklee Snarky Puppy Ensemble. The group, with Gaspard Gabriel on bass, performs “Shofukan.”

SFJAZZ shared this video of Snarky Puppy performing “Pineapple” for the SFJAZZ 2024-25 season. Cowritten by trumpeter Mike “Maz” Maher and bassist/bandleader Michael League, the tune appeared on their 2022 album, “Empire Central.”

I absolutely love Snarky Puppy’s work with the Metropole Orkest. So it was exciting to see them drop a new video, which came with an announcement. Here’s an alternate take of “The Curtain.”

Snarky Puppy took the stage at North Sea Jazz 2023. As usual, Michael League and the band delivered an incredible performance, and the audio/video work by the NSJ team is stellar.
