Les Claypool is keeping plenty busy this month. In addition to the new Primus EP and their “A Tribute to Kings” tour, Claypool has announced dates with his Bastard Jazz project.

Oteil Burbridge has announced a new set of tour dates with his project Oteil & Friends. The band on this go-around will include keyboardist Melvin Seals, guitarists Steve Kimock and Eric Krasno, and drummer John Kimock.

After releasing the “Texas Moon” EP with Leon Bridges, Khruangbin has announced that they’re expanding their upcoming tour, stretching it into August and October.

ZZ Top has announced a new album, “RAW”, that will be released on July 22nd. It features the group’s classic lineup of Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard, and Dusty Hill. The current lineup, with Elwood Francis on bass, has also announced a new tour.

Whether he’s in a duo with Edgar Meyer or leading his big band, Christian McBride always keeps good company. Now the bass icon has unveiled a set of tour dates with a brand new band.

Phish is back at it this year with a healthy tour schedule. The band, anchored by bass great Mike Gordon, will get things rolling in April and keep it going through September. The new dates include a four-night residency at Madison Square Garden.

Victor Wooten, Steve Bailey, and Gregg Bissonette have added a second leg to their upcoming Bass Extremes tour. The second round of dates will focus on the East Coast with performances from Georgia up to Massachusetts.

The Aristocrats have announced the “Defrost” tour, which will take the trio across North America with 50 performances. Guthrie Govan, Bryan Beller, and Marco Minnemann will be on the road for 10 weeks across the U.S and Canada.
