Johannes Pehrson sent us another video, and this time it is a live version of a tune he’s previously shared. Along with Maria Anna Rosenberg, the duo Me and Maria performs this beautiful tune, “Hvor kærligheden vugges.” “The bass I used in this song is a 4 string Sandberg California with piccolo strings,” Johannes shared.

Diego Tarantino is such a talent, and not only on bass. Here’s a video he’s just shared with us of his ukulele and bass cover of Jerome Kern’s “Pick Yourself Up.”

This year’s Jazz in Marciac lineup looked to be stellar, and here’s one example. The Mike Stern band took the stage with Richard Bona on bass, Manu Katche on drums, and Niels Lan Doky on keys. Here’s one of the clips from their performance. As always, Bona is so on the money!
