Rockpalast has been going strong since 1976, and it's always a treat when they release vintage shows on YouTube. A few weeks ago, they dropped this gem of Paul Butterfield and his band in 1978, which marked the blues legend's first solo band performance in Europe.

Fernando Molinari recently released the single “Netuno,” featuring Marco Minnemann on drums, Andre Nieri on guitar, and Daniel Felix on keyboards. The song features a monstrous bass line, and Molinari has just released a bass playthrough video so fans can get a closer look at what he does.

Kamasi Washington (with Miles Mosley) brought down the house at his Tiny Desk Concert. The group performed “Lesanu,” “Street Fighter Mas,” “The Rhythm Changes,” and “Asha The First.”

We love Snarky Puppy, so it was cool to see this video by the Berklee Snarky Puppy Ensemble. The group, with Gaspard Gabriel on bass, performs “Shofukan.”

Rich Brown just shared a video he titled “A Different Kind of Bass Solo” from his performance with the Jeremy Ledbetter Trio. He added, “Also, the moment right before my solo when Jeremy and I both realized my E-bow had been placed for safe keeping inside the piano bench.”
