One of my favorite bands since my teen years is jazz-fusion band Casiopea. When I first heard the track "Mid-Manhattan", I was instantly hooked. Here’s the band performing “Mid-Manhattan” at Blues Alley in Japan.

Charles Berthoud dropped another great video yesterday, saying, “I couldn’t get this idea out of my head so here you go.” In this one, Charles makes “Für Elise” funky.

On this day in 1960, the great Victor Bailey was born. In honor of his birthday, here’s a clip of Bailey and his group performing “Low Blow” at Moody’s Jazz Cafe in Foggia, Italy, in 2010.
