Once you finish Volume 1, you’ll be ready for Johnson’s Walking Bass Line Module System, Volume 2: Scale Modules. This volume includes major and minor ii-V-i progressions, modes, fingering systems, and other exercises.

Fretless guru Steve Bailey’s Fretless Bass focuses on exclusively on fretless bass topics including intonation, sliding, string blending, and fretless effects. Bailey demonstrates in both studio and live performance applications.
