Victor Bailey Shares Health Update

Bass legend Victor Bailey has been battling a form of muscular dystrophy called Charcott Marie Tooth disease for the past two decades. After announcing that his condition has worsened, the former Weather Report member checked in on his Facebook page to update his fans.

A series of tests revealed that there is no outside factor affecting his health decline, indicating that it’s a change in his muscle disease. Further, an issue with his lungs appear to be non-chronic.

“Well I’m finally out of the hospital,” Bailey shared. “Can’t say I’m ‘better.’ My breathing is better but I still have a long way to go. I’m now in a rehab facility and will be working on my strength and stamina for as long as it takes. Thanks for all your warm wishes and messages over these past few weeks.”
