Here’s Christian McBride performing his version of the Weather Report tune “Boogie Woogie Waltz”. McBride said Weather Report used to close their shows with this tune, before Birdland.

Miroslav Vitous: Remembering Weather Report

Czech bassist Miroslav Vitous, an original member of Weather Report, has released his latest album Remembering Weather Report.
The album is acoustic and features Vitous’s original compositions with Franco Ambrosetti (trumpet), Gary Campbell (tenor saxophone), Miroslav (double-bass), Gerald Cleaver (drums) and Michel Portal (bass clarinet).

Right up until the end of his life, Joe Zawinul could still bring it (and pick bass players).
