G&L Unveils the Fullerton Deluxe JB MFD: A New Spin on the Classic JB Bass

GL Fullerton Deluxe JB MFD Silver Bass

After unveiling the Pancho Tomaselli signature bass earlier this month, G&L has announced the Fullerton Deluxe JB MFD. The new model is similar to their JB model with MFD pickups.

“The 2025 Fullerton Deluxe JB MFD combines the classic JB platform with G&L’s powerful Magnetic Field Design (MFD) pickups, delivering exceptional tone, clarity, and versatility,” the company writes. “Built for musicians who value timeless aesthetics blended with modern sonic capabilities, the JB MFD provides a dynamic range of sounds suitable for any style or setting.”

The new bass will be available in two versions. The first features an alder body in a Silver Metallic finish, complete with a 3-ply Mint pickguard and a rosewood fingerboard. The second option has a swamp ash body in a natural finish, with a black pickguard and maple fingerboard.
