He played his Skjold five-string through a Markbass rig. The tone was clean and big. Enough space to move. Enough weight to hold everything together. He was listening more than playing, but when he played, it counted.
His lines stayed low and clear, always in motion. He played with restraint and feel, making room for the band without ever playing it safe.
