BHI Guitars Perseo 6BBLS: Handcrafted Italian Headless Bass with Darkglass Electronics

This week, we’re checking out the BHI Guitars Perseo 6BBLS, a stunning six-string headless bass featuring a magnificent buckeye burl top. Handcrafted by luthier Battistoni in Italy, this bass features a swamp ash body, maple neck, and maple fretboard with 24 stainless steel jumbo frets. Its multi-scale neck is supported with two truss rods with spoke wheel adjustors at the end of the fingerboard.
Battistoni fit the bass with three Dingwall pickups and a Darkglass Electronics preamp. Its control set includes Bass, Mid, Hi-Mid, Volume (with push/pull for active or passive operation), and Blend. Finally, the bass is finished in a high-gloss to make the intricate burl really stand out.
