Fuzzrocious Releases Grey Stache/Heliotropic Dual-Fuzz Pedal With Holiday Pre-Launch Batch

Fuzzrocious Pedals Grey Stache_Heliotropic

Fuzzrocious Pedals has combined two of its most popular pedals into a single unit with the new stompbox, the Grey Stache/Heliotropic. The new fuzz creation will be released worldwide on January 15th, but they’ve launched a limited pre-release batch of just 10 units in time for the holidays.

“We’ve packed both the Grey Stache fuzz AND Heliotropic fuzz into ONE enclosure and it will cost less than a standalone Heliotropic! We’ve made some little tweaks here and there to improve what a fuzz can do,” Fuzzrocious writes.

The new pedal has a direct-exclusive colorway with green LED and germanium diode clipping. It has three footswitches: the right is a bypass, the left turns on the Heliotropic circuit, and the top is a momentary feedback/oscillation. A diode toggle lets you select between clipping. The full release model will toggle between a 1n914 diode, an LED, or none. Fuzzrocious notes that “pre-release uses Germanium diodes – note that feedback is hard to achieve with Germs and you need to push the Volume pot’s level up.”

The Fuzzrocious Grey Stache/Heliotropic pre-release is available for direct order at $199.

Fuzzrocious Grey Stache/Heliotropic Features:

9V DC output center negative power
Right footswitch turns pedal on/off
Left footswitch turns Heliotropic on (replaces Grey Stache setup)
Top fooswitch blasts momentary feedback/oscillation
Diode toggle selecting 1n914/none/LED clipping (pre-release uses Germanium diodes – note that feedback is hard to achieve with Germs and you need to push the Volume pot’s level up)
Top-mounted jacks
One of a kind three footswitch array to maximize your board space – top footswitch is raised to sit above the pots
