Derek is playing a 1963 Fender Precision bass with La Bella Low Tension Flats and a Nordstrand Nordy Mute. The signal goes through a Noble Preamp DI into a slightly pushed 1970s Ampeg B 15 and then a Neve console. Simple. Classic. Sounds killer.
