ESP Unveils Eight New LTD DX Basses at NAMM 2026 with Burl Tops and Budget-Friendly Pricing

ESP LTD DX Basses from NAMM 2026

ESP was at NAMM 2026 with eight new LTD basses split among three models: the B bass, the Phoenix, and the Surveyor. Each is in the DX range, which the company describes as giving high-quality instruments for a modest price.

The LTD B-204DX and LTD B-205DX are four and five-string versions of the same design, while the LTD Phoenix-204DX and LTD Surveyor-204DX are four-string only. While they have their own unique designs, they all share many similar features.

Each bass is built with a poplar body, poplar burl top, roasted maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. ESP offers them in either Black Burst or Red Burst. The B models and Phoenix are fitted with SB pickups, while the Surveyor has a set of ESP LJB (bridge) and LPD (neck) pickups.

All of ESP’s new LTD basses carry street prices of $549, with the five-string LTD B-205DX going for $599.
