Sire Expands Its Boutique Line with the Marcus Miller F10 DX and F10 DC at NAMM 2026

Sire Guitars 2026 F10 Basses

Sire Guitars was at NAMM this year with lots to show off, including two new models in the F10 lineup: the F10 DX and the F10 DC. Each continues the company’s take on boutique bass design.

The F10 DX, which comes in standard or headless models, is described as Sire’s premium modern single-cut bass. Both versions are available with four, five, or six strings; the four-string has a 34-inch scale, while the others have a 35-inch scale. The F10 DX is built with a swamp ash body sporting a spalted maple top, a five-piece hard maple and mahogany neck, and an ebony “edgeless” fingerboard. White pearloid/abalone block inlays mark the 24 frets.

Other features include a Marcus Custom-H Revolution pickup set matched with the Marcus Heritage-3 HD preamp. The control set features Volume/Tone, Blender, Treble, Mid/Freq, and Bass knobs.

Sire calls the F10 DC a more “traditional-feeling entry ” in the F10 line. The “DC” stands for its double-cutaway body shape.

“The F10dc features a modern double-cut design that improves upper-fret access compared to the single-cut F10 models while offering a more traditional silhouette within the boutique, extended-range category,” the company writes.

The F10 DC is crafted with neck-through construction. Similar to the DX, it comes in four, five, and six-string designs with varying scales. The DC is made with an alder body, rosewood top, hard maple/mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard. Sire fits the four and five-string versions with a Custom-PJ Revolution pickup configuration. The six-string models has humbuckers, instead.

“All F10dc models are reinforced by a Heavymass Custom bridge, premium die-cast tuners, black Satin hardware, and an included hardshell case with wooden finger rest,” they conclude.

Pricing starts at $1,899 for the Sire Guitars Marcus Miller F10 DX, with the headless version beginning at $1,799. The F10 DC starts at $1,699.
