Gorillaz Reveal 2026 North American Tour Featuring Live Bassist Seye Adelekan

Gorillaz Mountain Tour with bassist Seye Adelekan

Just after releasing their ninth studio album, The Mountain, Gorillaz have announced their first extensive North American tour in four years. Little Simz and Deltron 3030 will join as support.

The 22-date arena tour is set for the fall, beginning in Orlando, Florida on September 17th and heading up the East Coast as far as Montreal, Quebec. They’ll cut back down the Midwest to cover the south and make their way west. After several shows in California, they’ll end the run on Halloween in Seattle, Washington at the Climate Pledge Arena.

Technically, Gorillaz are an English virtual band consisting of 2-D, Noodle, Russel Hobbs, and bassist Murdoc Niccals. The project is the brainchild of Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, who created a short animated film of the group called “The Mountain, The Moon Cave and The Sad God.”

However, their concerts have a live backing band that features bassist Seye Adelekan, whose energy lights up the stage. Check out the Gorillaz live experience with this footage from Flow Festival in Finland during 2022.
