Trace Elliot Launches Transformer DI With Huge Frequency Range for Bassists
Trace Elliot has introduced the Transformer DI, a new direct box designed for all instruments. The device, which is completely passive, has a broad frequency response that’s perfect for bassists.
“With a frequency response between 14Hz and 80kHz, this unit is essential for five string bassists, other drop tuned instruments, and artists wanting the sound of their instruments uncolored by the PA interface,” the company writes.
The Trace Elliot Transformer DI features individual 1/4-inch and XLR jacks for both inputs and outputs as well as a Ground Lift button. It’s housed in a die cast enclosure finished in the company’s signature green.
The Trace Elliot Transformer DI is available now for $229.
