Darkglass Expands Anagram With New Plugin Marketplace for Effects, Amp Sims, and More

Darkglass Anagram Marketplace

A year after launching the Anagram multi-effects unit, Darkglass Electronics has unveiled the Anagram Marketplace. The online platform opens up the Anagram to a wide range of third-party plugins created by the audio community at large.

“Featuring a wide range of new plugins created by the audio community, the Marketplace also opens the door for plugin developers, creators, and sound designers to shape the platform with their own creations,” the company writes. “With the marketplace, Anagram is no longer just a multi-effect you use; It becomes something you can be a part of. A growing new community of engineers, developers, producers, and musicians who share and shape what they create in one place. Every time you turn Anagram on, there is something new waiting to explore.”

The plugins range from amp and cab simulations to effects like overdrive, modulation, reverb, and more. The marketplace launched with several utility plugins including an “auto drummer,” metronome, and a chord reference.

As a marketplace, each plugin’s price is determined by the company offering it. Currently, the prices range from free to €49. Darkglass writes that there will be no microtransactions or paid firmware surprises.

“Darkglass will keep delivering core updates and new blocks, just like always. That part never changes,” they write.
