Eric Vogel Grooves with Marcus King and Eric Krasno on “Woman’s Got to Have It”
We recently featured Marcus King, Eric Krasno, and bassist Eric Vogel performing “Sweet Little Angel” at Carter Vintage Guitars in Nashville. Now, the trio is back with another soulful performance.
This time they’re taking on Bobby Womack’s “Woman’s Gotta Have It,” from his 1972 album Understanding.
Vogel is once again holding down the low end on a beautiful 1964 Fender Jazz Bass in Lake Placid Blue with a matching headstock. This time, he’s running through a Risson B200 bass amp and a 1×15 cabinet.
There’s plenty of vintage guitar history here. King is playing Phil Everly’s 1959 Gibson J-200 acoustic, while Krasno is on a 1970s Fender Stratocaster.
It’s another great opportunity to hear Vogel’s pocket playing alongside two outstanding guitarists.
Check out the trio’s take on this soul classic.
