Epiphone Unveils Masterbilt Century Acoustic/Electric Bass Guitar

Epiphone Masterbilt De Luxe Classic Acoustic-Electric Bass

Epiphone has added a four-string to their Masterbilt Century series called the Masterbilt De Luxe Classic Acoustic/Electric Bass Guitar. It carries all the features of the Century line including a solid spruce top with traditional longitudinal bracing, an ebony fretboard, and five-piece maple/mahogany neck.

Available in Vintage Sunburst and Vintage Natural finishes, the bass is fitted with a Shadow NanoFlex HD pickup matched with an eSonic preamp. It has volume and tone controls mounted in the body just inside the lower f-hole. Epiphone finishes it off with vintage-style hardware including marboloid “Crown” tuners, a floating bridge, and a traditional Epiphone Trapeze tailpiece.

The Epiphone Masterbilt De Luxe Classic Acoustic/Electric Bass will be available in October with a street price of $999.
