David Ellefson Announces New Memoir
It’s been five years since Megadeth bassist David Ellefson released his autobiography, My Life With Deth. Co-authored with Joel McIver, the book chronicled the founding of the band through his departure. Now he’s announced that he’ll be picking the story back up with a new memoir entitled More Life With Deth.
The book is written with Thom Hazert and will cover his time after Megadeth through the 2000’s into his return to the band in 2010. It includes contributions from fellow musicians Alice Cooper, Brian “Head” Welch, Megadeth’s Dirk Verbeuren, Mark Slaughter, Marc Rizzo, Ron Keel and more.
“It’s a good thing Ellefson found some time to write his new book ‘More Life with Deth’ because I cannot wait to read it to figure out how he does it all! Keep going David!” Welch exclaimed.
Ellefson is publishing the book through his own EMP Merch company. It will be available in November. Pre-orders are open now with a special backer option to get your name in the book’s credits.
