Roy Vogt’s Annual Thunder Row Bass Invitational Returns For 8th Year

Nashville will be rumbling again as Roy Vogt’s Thunder Row Bass Invitational is back for its eighth year! The bass-centric event has been expanded to three days that coincide with the Summer NAMM Show on June 28th, 29th, and 30th.

This year will bring a host of bass talents including luthiers to perform. The lineup includes Vogt, Pete Skjold (Skjold Basses), Slamomir Waclawik (Rybski Basses), Dave Pomeroy, Blake Branch, Tom Richards, Shaun Munday, Keith Horne, Brian Allen, Mike Frost, Brad Russell, Jeff Berlin, Gros Ngolle Pokossi, Jon Von Boehm and 3 AM, Brittany Frompovich, Jonathan Moody, and Darren Michaels. More performers are expected to be added to all three nights.

Roy Vogt’s 8th Annual Thunder Row Bass Invitational will be held at The Douglas Corner Café on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 28th, 29th and 30th during Summer NAMM. Shows start at 7pm each night. Tickets are $15 at the door with proceeds going to The W.O. Smith Community Music School.

In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast.
