Black Pumas: Confines

One of my favorite musical discoveries of 2020 has been Black Pumas. I found their video for “Colors” in January, and I’ve been spinning their self-titled album ever since.

Here’s a new video in support of their upcoming “Deluxe Edition” of that debut. The new edition will include three brand new songs, live in-studio recordings, a cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” as well as a bonus 7-inch featuring covers of The Beatles, and Legendary Bobby Blue Bland tunes.

This clip features a live, in-studio version of “Confines”, with Brendan Bond on bass.
