Paul Wolfe Publishes “Bass Guitar in 50 Songs: Module 1”
Paul Wolfe has expanded his “How To Play Bass” lineup of instructional books with a new volume entitled Bass Guitar in 50 Songs: Module 1. The 163-page book is a kickstarter for beginners and serves as the first of a five-module set.
Wolfe covers the basics in the book including plucking hand facility, fretting hand technique, basic rhythms, and how to create a practice schedule. He also dives into common chord progressions with eight practice songs.
“These practice songs are ‘graded’ in exactly the way classical piano pieces would be, and are practical applications of previous theory and facility exercises. (The remaining songs will be spread over Modules 2 to 5),” he writes.
Bass Guitar in 50 Songs: Module 1 comes with over 200 MP3 practice tracks for download and other online aids to keep you engaged. It’s available now through Amazon.
