You Bred Raptors?: “Cameroon” 8-String Bass and Cello Playthrough
You Bred Raptors? have a completely unique sound, thanks in part to their instrumentation of drums, cello, and eight-string electric bass. The mighty axe is wielded by Peat Rains, who shared this new playthrough for “Cameroon,” which will be featured on their upcoming album, Lysine.
Rains handles the bass parts as well as chordal accompaniment and melodies. The blend of his upper register with Tara Hanish’s cello lines makes for some serious ear candy.
