Gibson TV Launches “Icons” Episode on Rex Brown of Pantera

Pantera has made a huge resurgence this year with original members Rex Brown and Philip Anselmo touring under the band’s banner with Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante filling in for the late Abbott Brothers, Dimebag Darrell, and Vinnie Paul. The group is only a few shows into their leg in Mexico and South America. (Unfortunately, Brown has fallen ill and missed Knotfest Chile, where bassist Derek Engemann has stepped in for the time being.)
The whirlwind has brought a new signature bass for Brown, and now Gibson TV has premiered a new episode of Icons on him. The long-form interview series caught up with Brown at his cabin outside of Nashville, where they dove deep into his musical journey, his influences, the rise and fall of Pantera, and more.
