Felix Pastorius To Join Cindy Blackman-Santana on Spring Tour
Percussionist Cindy Blackman-Santana is heading out on the road with her band this spring for a tour that will go coast to coast. Beginning on April 22nd at the Charleston Jazz Festival in South Carolina, the trek will jump to California for two dates before returning to the East Coast for shows in Maryland and New York.
The low end for the whole run will be handled by Felix Pastorius, whose keen sense of rhythm and harmony helps to tie the music together. Check out Pastorius in the band in this clip of “Circle in the Round” from Baltimore’s Keystone Korner in 2021:
