Metallica’s HOF bass drama continues

Let’s see if we can keep this straight… First, Robert Trujillo was playing with the Metallica for the band’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (we think). Later, it was Jason Newsted.

In fact, Newsted shared in an interview that he was playing and Trujillo was sitting.

Not so, according to a Warner Bros. Records spokesman, who said “Jason and Robert will both be playing Metallica’s induction songs.” No word if the two will be on stage at the same time.

Oh yeah, Flea will be on stage too. He’s introducing the band. Maybe if things go terribly wrong, he can fill in.
