Fieldy & Co team up for Chi Cheng benefit instrumental

Korn bassist Fieldy (Reginald Arvizu) is teaming up with musicians to record an instrumental to help raise funds for Deftones bassist Chi Cheng‘s medical bills. Fieldy is joined by drummer and Korn bandmate Ray Luzier, guitarist Jim Root of Slipknot, former Korn lead guitarist Brian “Head” Welch and guitarist Clint Lowery of Sevendust.

As we recently reported, Chi is out of ICU, but still in a semi-conscious state following his car accident last November. Chi’s insurance company has reportedly stopped paying his medical bills as of mid-January.
