  1. Jack Bruce fans and others you have to check out Things We Like (recorded 1968)–stunning upright bass work by the master electric bassist. The album is just fantastic featuring some great bebop flavored guitar work from John McLaughlin, blazing horn work by Dick Heckstall-Smith rounded out by Jon Hiseman contributing superb drum work. This album may not be held in high esteem by those making the lists of “500 best blah blah blah” but check it out and see what Jack and his pals were up to just prior to Cream breaking up; you’ll be amazed.
