Epifani has released new additions to their performance series amplifiers, the PS1000 and PS400. It will be available for shipping on July 29th 2009. Epifani started as a creator of custom bass cabinets. It was not long before they moved into amplifier production and were pioneers in digital amps, working on them as early as 1999 with the first production amp, the UL502/902 released in 2004. The PS 1000 is a next-generation class-D head pushing out 1000 watts at 4 ohms.
The PS 1000 full feature list includes:

- Passive/active input select
- 3-band shelving EQ
- Treble shift
- Mid cut selector (footswitch accessible)
- Mid cut level adjustment
- Mute (footswitch accessible)
- Master volume
- DI out with level control, pre/post EQ select, ground lift

- EFX send/return series or parallel
- Speakon output connector
The PS 1000 and PS 400 feature the same look, dimensions (3.5”h x 19”w x 11”d), and each weigh 13lbs. Pricing starts at $999 for the PS 1000 and $599 for the PS 400.
