Josephine Wiggs rejoins The Breeders
The Breeders have been on tour this summer to support their latest release Fate To Fatal, released in April on their own label.
On the tour, bassist Mando Lopez had to fly home to be with his pregnant wife. The Breeders reached out to their former bassist, Josephine Wiggs, to fill in for the last few shows.
Wiggs has not been a touring member of the band since 1994. She did join The Breeders for a reunion concert in 2005 to celebrate 4AD’s anniversary but has not played with the otherwise. Wiggs has been relearning the old songs and the latest tracks on the road with the band, they’ve been practicing with acoustic instruments as they travel.
